Baaba Kulka is the musical-band-collective expression of the Polish artist known as Gaba Kulka. The concept, or factual delivery, consists of ten Iron Maiden covers, reloaded, re-approached or just »done« that way ?? It's not a bad idea, it's just an idea, it's alright, why not. But they play all that in a more unplugged dressing, a bit of Eurovision pops, some Nu Jazz, traces of soul and electro dubbing ... In fact unless a die hard fan of Iron Maiden you wouldn't care at all about the concept, and stick to the result: which results sounds like a soundtrack to an art opening, off the crowd talking and drinking. Whatever. I guess the only straight metal link stands in the Hard Rock label: Mystic Production.
